why is this poem the biggest piece of junk on the planet it makes no sense
The right to make my dreams come true,
I ask, nay, I demand of life,
Nor shall fate's deadly contraband
Impede my steps, nor countermand;
Too long my heart against the ground
Has beat the dusty years around,
And now at length I rise! I wake!
And stride into the morning break!
this poem is the biggest piece of junk on the planet that makes no sense because you fail to understand it and feel it

Joe is writing about a passage from Wonder by R. J. Palacio. I walked toward Jack and followed him out of the auditorium. He held the double doors open for me, and as I passed by, he looked at me right in the face, kind of daring me to look back at him, which I did. Then I actually smiled. I don't know. Sometimes when I have the feeling like I'm almost crying, it can turn into an almost-laughing feeling. And that must have been the feeling I was having then, because I smiled, almost like I was going to giggle. Which best shows that Joe is using a personal connection to understand August’s character? I know how it feels to want to laugh and cry at once. When my family had my grandfather’s funeral, we were very sad. But still we laughed, remembering Grandpa’s funny jokes. I understand how August felt. I know how August must be feeling. Sometimes I am just so happy I want to cry, like the time I got a bike for my birthday. I cried happy tears. Just thinking about August makes me want to cry. It must be so hard to be so different looking and have so many physical challenges. I feel sorry for him, because he just wants to have friends, and nobody likes him. August made people feel uncomfortable because he was different. He did not mean to, but he sometimes made little children cry and older people laugh. I think that is what the story means about laughing and crying.

How is an article written 50 years after an event different from an article written one year after the event?
A: It can reflect on the long-term impact of the event.
B: It can summarize the details of the event chronologically.
C: It can provide lots of specific details about the event.
D:It can show the immediate reactions of the people involved.
Answer:
A
Explanation:
An article written a year after would only have information on the effects of the event a year later and nothing beyond that, but an article written decades later would probably have more info on the long term effects of the event. For example what happened on 9/11, a year after the collapse of the towers there probably weren't that many people who had chronic diseases from the dust inhaled at Ground Zero, but years later more and more people found out they had some sort f long term effect from inhaling that dust years ago. Hope this helps :)

Answer:
Pleasant.
Explanation:
Not sure if that really counts as a response, but thats how I felt when I had to read this book a few months ago for school. I found it a nice ending for the book. It didn't feel like a cliffhanger, yet still gave the reader things to think about in regards to the plot and symbolism (seasons) of the novel and how it all tied together.

The Mystery of Loch Ness
By Kayden Mitchell
Of all the mysteries in the world, none has been as popular as that of the Loch Ness Monster. Perhaps the biggest mystery is whether it is convincing evidence or a simple desire to believe that keeps the myth alive.
Loch Ness is a lake in Scotland. The loch, or lake, is known for sightings of a mysterious monster. Most who see this monster, known as Nessie, describe something with a long neck and several humps above the water. Sometimes the "monster" is moving in these sightings, and sometimes it is still. Many have suggested that Nessie might be a plesiosaur (plea-see-a-soar), an aquatic dinosaur that was trapped in the loch after the last ice age.
The plesiosaur theory presents several problems. First, the plesiosaur is an air breather. Such a creature would need to surface often and, therefore, be seen more frequently. Second, it's unlikely that the same creature has lived in the loch since the last ice age. Today's creature would have to be the offspring of an original plesiosaur trapped long ago. This would suggest multiple creatures in the loch (needed to produce offspring). Again, sightings would be more frequent if this were the case.
So from a purely logical stand point, the existence of such a large and ancient creature is unlikely. But assume for a minute that it is possible. What would a plesiosaur need to live in an enclosed lake?
Tropical waters: Scientists believe plesiosaurs were warm-blooded. Like crocodiles and alligators, plesiosaurs would need to live in warm waters. The loch is very cold with temperatures averaging about 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 Celsius).
Food: Like other warm-blooded creatures, plesiosaurs would need a large quantity of food. If there is a group of Nessies, then even more food would be needed. Because the loch is full of silt (underwater dust) not much light gets into the deepest areas. So the food chain, which would depend on plankton, is very weak at its base. As a result, there is probably not enough food to support such a large creature.
However, the plesiosaur theory is not the only one. Many other ideas attempt to explain the sightings and "photographs." But two separate sonar surveys of the loch have not found any evidence of a creature larger than a salmon. The last survey,1 completed in 2007 by the British Broadcasting Company (BBC), involved 600 different sonar beams. Using satellite navigation systems, the team made sure every inch of the loch was searched. The team found nothing.
With cell phones and digital cameras, one would think that sightings of Nessie would increase. This has not happened. The BBC team believes the legend of Nessie has endured because people see what they want to see. To prove this, the team used a fence post, raising it before groups of tourists. Afterwards several of the tourists asked to draw pictures of what they had seen drew pictures of a monster's head.
1"BBC 'proves' Nessie does not exist." 27 July, 2003.

Based on the text, what is the main result of scientists having studied the plesiosaur?
The people who claim to have seen Nessie can be proven to have been dishonest.
The sightings have decreased rapidly since the studies were released.
We can conclusively rule out the existence of modern plesiosaurs.
We know enough to rule out a plesiosaur as a likely Nessie creature.

A student used a flashlight and a globe to model the seasons. The student noticed that while one hemisphere of earth tilted toward the flashlight, the other titled away. Describe the effect that this phenomenon has on Earth's seasons.
The effect of the phenomenon observed by the student where one hemisphere of Earth tilting toward the flashlight while the other hemisphere tilted away, is the changing of Earth's seasons.
How does the Earth's seasons change? The axis of the Earth continues to be tilted at an inclination of around 23.5 degrees as it revolves around the sun. This means that at certain times of the year, one hemisphere of the Earth is inclined toward the sun, while the other hemisphere is slanted away.
The hemisphere that initially inclined toward the sun progressively tilts away, and vice versa, as the Earth continues its circle around the sun. As a result, each hemisphere sees differing quantities of sunshine and fluctuations in temperature, precipitation, and weather patterns, which results in the seasons changing from summer to fall to winter to spring.
