What exactly is a story?Any narrative, whether nonfiction (memoir, biography, news report, documentary, travelogue, etc.) or fictional, that describes a series of connected events or encounters (fairy tale, fable, legend, thriller, novel, etc.). A story can be told using a combination of still or moving images, written or spoken words, or any of these by themselves or in combination. The Latin verb narrate, which meaning "to tell," and the adjective gnarus were combined to create the word (knowing or skilled). PLSS HELPPP Now, back when I was a kid, the closest thing to sending an e-mail was tying a note to a pigeon and throwing him in the direction of the person you wanted to talk to. I never thought in a million years that I'd be sued for illegally downloading music.
2I was doing my morning crossword puzzle, enjoying my coffee and prune juice when the mailman knocked on my door. I got some not-so-good news in a letter from a company called the Recording Industry Association of America, or the RIAA for short. They're the folks who represent record companies and their performers. They told me in this pretty, pink stationery that I was violating copyright laws by downloading music off the Internet, and they weren't too happy about it. Copyright laws are these doohickeys that give artists, writers, or musicians control over how their work is used and reproduced. Apparently, today, downloading music is like when we used to steal a pie off old Ms. Roundtree's windowsill. But, rather than a paddle to the keister, the RIAA will sue your keister.
3Now, the funny thing is, I didn't even know I had a connection to the Internet, let alone how to download a song by P-Doody, or whatever that wisecracking young man's name is. So, I had a talk with my grandkids (whom I've nicknamed Up To and No Good) after this little runabout with the law, because I have a sneaking suspicion that they might have something to do with this.
4 My computer now has a password function to keep mischievous whippersnappers from getting their old granddad thrown behind bars. This is a great thing, except now I'm having a hard time remembering the password.

What does it mean to forgive? Are there limits to forgiveness? Explain.
5 sentences is the minimum. BRANLIEST WILL BE GIVEN!
Answer:
If we agree to forgive someone too quickly and uncritically in an effort to repair a relationship, without discussing and acknowledging the injury, then we are not necessarily doing it for the right reasons, and the issue will probably still fester.
And too often, the concept of forgiveness has been jumbled up with other ideas. For instance, we can excuse someone's conduct by deciding that the person who did us wrong simply couldn't help him- or herself. That is not forgiveness
Forgiveness also isn't the same as mercy. Showing mercy means reducing or eliminating the punishment completely, while being willing to forgive doesn't necessarily negate retribution. For example, there are programs where victims meet and forgive the criminals who injured them -- but still believe they should be punished. Murphy puts it this way: "Forgiveness is a change of heart toward someone -- overcoming the feelings of anger and resentment that typically come from being wronged by another."

In literature, resolution is the part of the plot of the story in which the main problem is solved or terminated. It is the stage that follows the falling action and is usually where the story ends.
During this stage the questions and mysteries that appear during the story are usually answered or at least explained. All full stories have a resolution, although the author does not disclose every last detail to the reader.

In 'American Born Chinese' the transformation of Jin Wang illustrates the plot element of internal conflict, aimed to incite sympathy. The Monkey King's self-imprisonment exhibits the external conflict, intended to create frustration. Each plot element effectively induces the desired emotion.
Explanation:1. In the book American Born Chinese, one plot element is when Jin Wang, desperately wanting to fit in with his white classmates, asked a deity-like figure to make him look like a Caucasian young boy. This demonstrates the plot element of a character's internal conflict.
2. A second plot element is the parallel story of the Monkey King, who experiences rejection and condemns himself to a mountain prison, aligning with the plot element of an external conflict.
3. The emotion intended to inspire Jin's transformation is sympathy, as readers may feel for him due to his intense desire to blend in with the crowd.
4. By contrast, the Monkey King's self-imposed imprisonment is designed to create feelings of frustration as readers see the potential in the character but he confines himself.
5. The plot element in the first scenario effectively creates the emotion. Jin's extreme lengths to fit in allows readers to feel sympathetic about his situation due to societal pressures.
6. Similarly, the plot element in The Monkey King's narrative successfully evokes feelings of frustration, as the reader becomes invested in the character's journey and upset by his self-limiting decisions.
7. Evidence to examine these plot elements includes character reactions, dialogue, and overall narrative structure.

excerpt from "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?" by Frederick Douglass
"Fellow-citizens; above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are, to-day, rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts that reach them. If I do forget, if I do not faithfully remember those bleeding children of sorrow this day, “may my right hand forget her cunning, and may my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth!” To forget them, to pass lightly over their wrongs, and to chime in with the popular theme, would be treason most scandalous and shocking, and would make me a reproach before God and the world. My subject, then fellow-citizens, is AMERICAN SLAVERY."

Therefore, option C is correct.
The Alchemist provides a kind of spirituality that is very different from conventional faiths that advocate self-denial by connecting what appear to be selfish human wants with the soul of the universe. Santiago must put his attention on his own goals rather than empathizing with and aiding others.
In addition, this quotation establishes the idea of the universe's soul, which the characters eventually refer to as the "Soul of the World." Even alchemy, the book's primary symbol, involves persuading metal to fulfill its own Personal Legend and transform into gold in the story. The main topic of The Alchemist thus becomes the notion that everyone should live in the solitary pursuit of their own goals.
