Can you mix artificial paint with water color paints????

Answers

Acrylic Paint and Water Color when mixed, from my experience, make it chunky and runny. if properly mixed and it´s fresh, clean, paint you can but DO NOT use a lot of WaterColor, because it will make the Acrylic Base lose most of its pigment. It can be done, but for it to look good i don´t suggest it. You can do seprate layers for more defined lines and contrast but mixing isn´t suggested.

If you mix acrylic and water color the combination would be very chunky and that application wouldn’t be the way you would want it. So I would do your water color first to get a just of want to want to paint, let it dry, then apply the acrylic to get the right look you want

What was the Black Death? How did art change as a result of the Black Death?

Answers

Answer:

Explanation:

Art changed due to the Black Plague primarily due to the fact that the plague swept away older social and economic structures, bringing in new types of thinking and expression, broadly remembered as the Renaissance.

Answer:

The Black Death was a bubonic plague pandemic that occurred in Western Eurasia and North Africa from 1346 to 1353. It is the most fatal pandemic recorded in human history, causing the deaths of an estimated 75-200 million people, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351. The Black Death was caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis, which is spread by fleas, but during the Black Death it probably also took a secondary form, spread by person-to-person contact via aerosols, causing pneumonic plague.

Artists have often tried to make sense of the random destruction brought by plagues. Their interpretation of the horrors they witnessed has changed radically over time. In Europe, art depicting the Black Death was initially seen as a warning of punishment that the plague would bring to sinners and societies. The centuries that followed brought a new role for the artist. Their task was to encourage empathy with plague victims, who were later associated with Christ himself, in order to exalt and incentivize the courageous caregiver. Through their creativity, artists have wrestled with questions about the fragility of life, the relationship to the divine, as well as the role of caregivers. Today, these historical images offer us a chance to reflect on these questions and to ask our own.

In Indian music, what is the continual repetition of one or more notes on the harmonium or tambura called?
A. Drone
B. Balungang
C. Raga
D. Tala

Answers

There are no similarities in between the two said instruments. The drone sound that has been put under consideration here is produced by a tanpura. A harmonium can never do that.

The tanpura produces, when tuned finely, whole notes and a complete octave of swaras. This is not evident in the case latter. The reason behind this is that the tanpura is a shuddh instrument whereas the harmonium is flawed generically. The notes in a harmonium can not bend; they are fixed and prone to go out of tune. Also when a raga is dropped light upon, the concept of notes experiences a multitude of flux which can only be justified by the tanpura. The repeated oscillatory sound of notes that it produces helps you actuate your sense of every particular note in a certain raga which is not even remotely possible with a harmonium. This is because the harmonium produces a constant sound; inseparable Sa and Pa. To add further, as I said earlier that the notes of the harmonium are not fixed, the Sa-Pa will sound correct only from certain note combinations which is unacceptable as not everyone sings from the same scale. Also, the harmonium is tuned by the harmonium-smith but with the tanpura, you have the sole control.

These are certain things that can be said. But, to actually learn those differences one must sit before a Guru and start practising with a Tanpura in hand. Experiencing is the only way of seeking realisation of the knowledge obtained.

Which correctly describes a difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells?

Multiple choice question.

A)
Only prokaryotic cells have vacuoles.

B)
Eukaryotic cells are smaller than prokaryotic cells.

C)
Prokaryotic cells have many organelles, each with their own specialized functions.

D)
Only eukaryotic cells have their genetic material surrounded by a lining.

Answers

C

prokaryotic cells are in many living things and eukaryotic cells are in plants

A difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells is described as Prokaryotic cells having many organelles, each with its own specialized functions. Thus the correct option is C.

What is a prokaryotic cell?

A cell without a real nucleus and organelles that are attached to membranes is said to be prokaryotic. The prokaryotic cell serves as the building block for all species in the Bacteria and Archaea domains.

The organisms whose cells have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles are called Eukaryotes. Eukaryotes can have one cell or even many. Eukaryotic organisms come in a great variety, including all types of animals, plants, and other species.

In contrast to Eukaryotes, which are organisms with cells that have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles, prokaryotic cells have several organelles, each with their own unique specializations.

Therefore, option C is appropriate.

Both Lam and Bosch employed symbolic elements in their work. What role do you think symbols can play in helping to visualize imaginative worlds? How can one read the symbolism (iconography)?

Answers

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The role I think symbols can play in helping to visualize imaginative worlds is very important. Indeed, I think many times a symbol can substitute many words that should be carefully chosen to explain something.

A symbol, on the other hand, can sum up many words in one image, and that is the power of symbols.

Talking about Jeronimous B*sch, the famous Renaissance painter from the Netherlands, we can appreciate the use of symbols he used in great paintings such as the "Cr*cifixion of St. J*lia."

Using iconography, we should be able to read symbols. This concept of iconography was created by Erwin Panofsky to deeply analyze artworks focusing basically on important symbols that had meaning for the people of the time when the work was created.

Through analyzing symbols, we can understand the meaning and the emotions projected in the artwork.

The Role Symbol can play in helping to visualize imaginative worlds is far greater than writing articles, making movies or songs, because the symbol can be easy to understand and easy to carry it, for example the use of National Flag is a symbol.

Symbolism

Symbolism can be an image, an action or a sign, which conveys clear message to the reciever. For example the victory sign during election, or the white flag during war, the halfmast, or the bowing down of head towards a king etc. are all the example of Symbolism.

Symbolism is mainly used in Iconography, because it easily conveys the meaning to the masses.

The concept of iconography was created by Erwin Panofsky. To read the symbolism one needs to be aware of the situation and the history of the figures. And moreover he or she should have ample knowledge about that field otherwise symbolism will be go in vain.

Simplify both sides:

\(3x+2(4x-6)=8x+1\)

\(3x+(2)(4x)+(2)(-6)=8x+1\) - (Distributive)

\(3x+8x+-12=8x+1\)

\((3x+8x)+(-12)=8x+1\) - (Combine Like Terms)

\(11x+-12=8x+1\)

\(11x-12=8x+1\)

Subtract 8x from both sides.

\(11x-12-8x=8x+1-8x\)

\(3x-12=1\)

Add 12 to both sides.
