Answer:
I will type out everything here, lol, but I recommend going with "Should volunteering be required to graduate high school?"
I would put my stance as No. Teens should not need to volunteer to graduate. ( I know its first person, so you will have to rewrite it)
- Because only some have the opportunity or time to volunteer due to other responsibilities out of their control, such as home life. family etc
- It would not give those who needed to befits from volunteering the best experience etc., if the volunteers did not want to be there
- they should agree because we have all experienced unwarranted circumstances and school stress, and adding more pressure/ anxiety to school is the last thing we need to do.

Answer:
There have been a lot of complaints recently about our school's "no snacking in class" policy. Some students seem to believe they should be free to munch on whatever they like, whenever they choose. I admit there are some valid arguments for allowing food and drinks in the classroom. Overall, though, I think the principal's decision to uphold the snacking ban is a wise one.
Food in the classroom could actually create a lot of noise. It is easy to say that one person eating a crunchy food like potato chips does not make that much noise, but what happens when there are twenty people crunching, crinkling bags, ripping open packages, and gulping down juice? I think it could easily make it more difficult to hear what the teacher is saying. All of these sounds would be a nightmare for me, because I find it difficult to focus on my work when there is a lot of background noise.
Students may say they will clean up after themselves, but I think we all know that letting food and drinks into the classroom would create a huge mess. No matter how careful students are, there are bound to be spills and crumbs. Just imagine how it would feel to arrive at your desk only to find the seat is sticky and the desktop is littered with cracker fragments.
Next, there is the issue of what students will be snacking on. Some students would make healthy choices. They might pack apple slices or carrot sticks with dip. They would choose to drink water or milk; however, there are many others who would decide to drink soda or eat chips and candy bars. Unhealthy snacks do not have much nutritional value at all. They are full of empty calories, and eating too many of them can lead to health problems. The school would probably want to discourage students from eating garbage. This gives teachers yet another responsibility. Instead of making them the "snack police," it is easier to just keep food out of the classroom.
Allowing snacking in the classroom is not just noisy and messy. For some students, it could also be dangerous. Some students at our school are allergic to certain foods. If they are exposed to them, there could be serious consequences. They might feel sick to their stomach or get itchy. If they are extremely allergic to the food, they might even have trouble breathing and need to go to the hospital. The scary thing is, it may not take very much of a food to trigger an allergic reaction. Keeping all foods and drinks out of the classroom will help keep students with food allergies safe. There is no doubt that all snacks are not created equal. A vitamin–packed banana is clearly more nutritious than a sugar–filled bag of banana–flavored candy. Some may view the fact that students might make unhealthy choices as a reason to keep snacks out of class. Letting snacks in class provides teachers with a superb chance to educate students about making good food choices. They can talk to the class as a whole or to single students about the difference between good snacks and bad snacks. They might even choose to ban junk food outright. These lessons could stay with and help students throughout their lives. Some people worry about the potential noise and mess that will result if food and drinks are allowed into the classroom. They also worry about food allergies. The benefits of allowing food into the classroom outweigh these downsides, though. In addition, these possible problems could be fully avoided by creating some rules students need to follow and introducing some new classroom routines. For instance, students might be told they cannot bring "noisy foods" into the classroom. Teachers could post a list of foods that are banned because some students are allergic to them. Teachers could also give students just a couple of minutes close to the end of class to throw away empty wrappers and wipe up spills.

In the 1800s, the United States was still a very young nation, trying to solidify its identity. The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain, a fast development of society following the introduction of machines. The United States was slower than Great Britain to fully embrace the changes. Yet key technological developments caused a rapid growth in American urban areas.
Better farming methods and tools in the 1800s increased food production. Americans were able to grow enough food for their families as well as to sell. The abundance caused food prices to fall.
The expansion of cotton and the growth of textile factories in northern states helped produce the first wave of American industry. More people turned to work in northern factories as a way to support their families. Thousands of immigrants to the United States also settled in or near port cities, looking for work. Even today, the need for work is a common reason people move to urban areas.
As a result, cities grew in numbers of people and physical space. As more people and businesses moved in, they needed buildings for living and working. They needed ways to move around the city. We call this process urbanization.
In 1820, the United States had only a few cities of 10,000 residents or more. About seven percent of U.S. residents lived in urban areas. The number of cities with more than 10,000 people grew quickly over the next 40 years, especially in the Northeast and Midwest. By 1860, about 20 percent lived in cities. Philadelphia and New York City were the most populated cities in 1860 and would soon reach one million residents.
The urbanization of the United States quickened due to technology improvements. Without innovations in food production, the factories could not have grown so quickly. The trend quickened after 1860 and continued throughout the 21st century as well. By 2007, more Americans lived in or near cities than they did in rural areas.

TITLE: Smart Shoppers
You can save a lot of money if you read the store sale flyer before you make your shopping list. I know this because I have been a clerk at Berry’s Supermarket for 4 years. I clean the store, stock the shelves, and help the customers find what they are looking for. I have seen a lot of foolish shoppers pay full price for things they don’t need. On the other hand, I have seen a lot of smart shoppers too.
The smart shoppers always look at the sales flyers before they begin shopping. The flyers come with the newspaper, but we also place some right by the front doors. Shoppers can pick them up when they walk in the store. The flyers list all of the items that are on sale that week. The flyers show what the prices are. Sometimes the prices are half off!
This is good news for the shoppers, but sometimes it is not good news for me. When a sale is really big, many people come to Berry’s. The store becomes very crowded. Sometimes, customers buy all of an item that is on sale. Then other customers get mad because they have come to the store just to buy that item and cannot find it. Those customers should not get mad at Berry’s, though. The store can only hold so many products! Plus, if an item is sold out and a customer still has an interest in buying it, Berry’s will give the customer a "rain check." This will allow them to buy the item at the sale price as soon as it gets restocked, even after the sale is finished.
Berry’s has to give out the most rain checks when the store has its "Back to School Spectacular." In addition to the specials that run for the week, there are new specials every weekday. On Monday, folders are on sale for $1. On Tuesday, notebooks are on sale for $2. On Wednesday, backpacks are on sale for $5. On Thursday, lunchboxes are half price. On Friday, crayons and markers are half off.
I am sure that Berry’s will be more crowded than ever for the sale. I will have to stock a lot of shelves, and I'm sure I'll have to write a lot of rain checks. I'll be happy when the weekend starts!

How does the life of the author influence the story that he wrote, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"?
Answer:
#2
Explanation:
Write about winter.
Example:
A Fall Display
In some parts of this country, Fall is the most colorful season of the year. It is the time when leaves change color. As colder temperatures blow in the green leaves are transformed into beautiful shades of yellow, red, and orange. How splendid and colorful the fall leaves become depends on what the weather was like in the summer. When summer brings warm, sunny days and crisp cool nights, the leaves in fall are more colorful. Rain also plays a role. If it rains too much or not enough over the summer the fall leaves may not be as bright. Many people will enjoy outside to see fall's beautiful display of color. But do you know what happens next? All of those beautiful leaves fall out of the trees. And then its time to bring out the rake!
Answer:
Winter is the last season of the year. It includes white snow that falls from the sky nearly every year. Some countries have winter in august and some countries such as England have winter in November and December. Winter occurs after fall (autumn).
Answer:
The following is just a paragraph about winter. There werent any other parameters.
Explanation:
In many parts of the globe, Winter time is seen as beautiful and cold. Snow falls on the ground and it is time for animals to hibernate and migrate. Some rabbits change their fur color to camouflage. It is a wonderful time that inspires artists with beautiful landscapes and ices over lakes for ice skating. How amazing it is that from death of the trees, there is life in activity and change in the weather. While summer gives hot and colorful days, winter provides snowball fights and different holidays. Many people will enjoy the winter time and its beauty in ice. I guess it is time to bring out the big jackets and snow shovels!
