1.) It makes me more knowledgeable about activities and safe ways to perform them. Like, for example, doing every activity without getting hurt.

2.) Karate probably.

3.) Plain old walking. I am constantly falling forward, and I have to keep my balance and coordinate the movement of my feet with the forward motion of my body.

4.) I play soccer. So that would mean that I can play hockey in the off-season because of the similar movements and fast-paced play.

5.) My guess is the leg action of treading water. The leg action of treading water requires more time and hard work than air, so it is a more difficult aquatic exercise.

6.) I didn't get this on my FLVS assignment, sorry :(

7.) Yes, because all of the activities I do in more than an hour.

Many females take the contraceptive pill, also known as a hormonal birth control pill. A lot of those females don't take the pill for birth control but for other feminine needs.
Do the hormones in the pill make the females more emotional on a daily basis? Or are their emotions normal while on the hormonal pill?

Answers

Answer:

It depends on the woman herself as everyone has a different body and handle the hormonal pill differently. Most females do feel more emotional as they are not used to the hormones in the pill that change their body as they are still adjusting to it whilst others have accustomed to the hormonal pill, so it won't impact them as much emotionally.

I hope this helps!! ^-^

It definitely depends on the person. But since it’s a hormonal pills, it’s gonna mess up a lot of things well not mess up but alter your hormones. And it can make you gain weight, lose weight, make you really depressed, it can make certain emotions stronger at times. I know people where it made them gain a lot of weight and made their emotions outta wack in the beginning of the pill and happening periodically after their body slowly got used to it. It made them nauseous, but there’s the downsides to it but it’s definitely a great thing if you’re period lasts a longer amount of time, periods leaving you in mass amounts of pain to where you don’t wanna move.

D.Jerome has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which is sex-linked. Frank has Huntington’s, which is dominant.

Answers

Answer:

D. Jerome has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which is sex-linked. Frank has Huntington’s, which is dominant.

Explanation:

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and Huntington's Disease (HD) are both neuro-degenerative diseases. Both are caused by mutations in exons that encode for proteins.

DMD is sex-linked because the mutation that causes this disease is found on the X-chromosome. The diseases specifically affects muscles and cause muscular dystrophy, hence the name.

Huntington's disease is autosomal dominant and the mutation is found on chromosome number 4. The Huntington protein is involved in numerous processes and the mutation causes progressive nuero-degeneration.

What are the avantages of an MRI scan over an xray?

Answers

Answer:

One big advantage to an MRI scan is that there is no exposure to radiation as in the case with X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans. This means MRI can be used more safely on people who are particularly vulnerable to the effects of radiation, such as pregnant women and babies.

MRI also has the advantage over X-ray because it can identify swelling and inflammation. It can show both three-dimensional and cross-sectional images of the body.
