You know one of the reasons why I have moved so much is because people were always so rude to my dad because he had an accent. When he was working in NC, there was a client who said they wanted to have another person to talk to because he had an accent. My dad is easy to understand though, he doesnt even have a heavy accent! My freshman year when I was in Texas as most of you are aware I am from. There was this girl who I went to school with who said she wouldnt even talk to me because she thought I had accent which most of you know, I do not have an accent.
